Will My Users Be Automatically Notified When Products are Back in Stock?
Any users that are waiting on a back-in-stock alert will be automatically notified when those products are restocked if your store is on one of our paid plans.
If your store is on a FREE plan however, the app doesn’t automatically send these alerts out. You can instead trigger the alerts via the app dashboard for each product that you restock. When you trigger the alerts from our dashboard, all users waiting on that product get notified via the app. To do this, go to the Swym Dashboard -> Reporting -> Back in Stock Products section.
This report will provide a list of products that users have signed up for an alert along with information on inventory level and and the number of users waiting to be notified when the product comes back in stock. Click on the button titled “Send back-in-stock Email” on a product. This will trigger our workflow and after ensuring that the product is currently in-stock, the app sends the alert emails to all users that had requested to be notified when the product was restocked.
