Get Started with Swym Gift Lists and Registries
By installing the Swym Gift Lists and Registries app in your Shopify store, you can enable your shoppers to create (and share) multiple gift lists for different occasions, track orders, and even send personalized “thank-you” messages to gifters.
In this article, we’ll give you a complete overview of how you can configure the app on your store, upgrade your pricing plan, get access to beta features, and more.
The Basics
Once you’ve installed the Swym Gift Lists and Registries app from the Shopify App Store, here’s how you can get started in three simple steps.
- Insert the Add to Registry button in all your product description pages to enable shoppers to add products to their gift lists and registries.
- Add Gift Registry to your store’s Main menu and make it easy for shoppers to manage registries.
- Customize the gift registry pages and forms to match your brand’s visuals and tone of voice.
Your shoppers will then be able to create gift lists and registries to share with their friends and family.
Choosing a Plan
Swym Gift Lists and Registries offers flexible pricing options based on the number of active registries in your store. After deciding on a plan, you can install the app to your Shopify store and unlock the 30-day free trial.
Also, you can upgrade/downgrade your plan at any time by following the below steps:
- Go to admin.shopify.com
- Select Swym Gift Lists and Registries from the list of apps you’ve installed.
- Click the Configuration tab.
- Click Pricing.
- Choose a plan and click Upgrade.
Get Access to Beta Features
Contact our support team at support@swymcorp.com to enable any of the below early access features in your store and use them before anyone else.
Add custom event types
Some common event and registry types like wedding, housewarming, baby, and graduation are already available as default options on the app. However, if you’d like to add more event types specific to your store, please let us know by writing to support@swymcorp.com and we’ll add them to your store.
Provide discounts on products listed in a gift registry
Give a flat or percentage-wise discount to gifters when they check out a product from a shopper’s gift registry and incentivize them to buy more gifts.
Hide a gift registrant’s shipping address from gifters
Enable the “address-masking” feature to hide a registry owner’s shipping address from gifters during checkout and protect your shoppers privacy. Please note that this feature will be enabled for all registries in your store.
