How Does the Wishlist Sharing Feature Work?

Wishlist Plus allows your shoppers to share their wishlist with friends and family. Users need to be logged in to access and use this share feature. We restrict usage to logged in users to prevent bot-triggered share emails and spam. By requiring login, we ensure that the sender has validated their identity by proving they control the sender email address and we make it very difficult for spammers or other malicious actors to leverage. 

Once logged in, they can find the sharing option behind the kebab menu in the upper right corner of the wishlist interface.

Wishlist Plus includes two sharing options:

  1. Share wishlist via email

Wishlist Plus allows you to share your wishlist with anyone via email. You need to be logged in to use this feature and it is available across all paid plans.

  1. Share wishlist via social channels

Wishlist Plus also allows you to share your wishlist across social media channels like Facebook & Twitter. On top of that, you can also copy the link to your wishlist and share it across any platform. You need to be logged in to share and be on any of Swym’s paid plans.

Here’s how both these options would look like in your store.

How to enable the wishlist-sharing feature on your store?

Step 1:

Log in to your Swym admin account and navigate to the ‘Wishlist Plus’ option under the ‘CONFIGURE’ section on the left sidebar.

Step 2:

To enable wishlist sharing, click on the ‘Configure’ button next to the ‘Share Wishlist Settingsoption under the ‘Engagement Features’ section.

Step 3:

Once inside, you can enable both the wishlist sharing options by clicking on the ‘Enable’ button.
